Former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson just stepped into her biggest role yet: motherhood.
On Sunday, Skai announced the exciting news on her Instagram, sharing a sweet photo of her newborn sitting between her legs, holding on to her fingers with their tiny hands.
They're pictured together wearing matching plaid green onesies and green socks. Not only did the baby make its Instagram debut, but Skai also revealed her child's name: Kasai. This reveal was accompanied by a teddy bear and brown heart emojis.
No further information, including the sex or birthdate, was shared about the baby.
The Jessie star confirmed in November that she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend. Although she has not publicly identified him, she is rumored to be dating Deondre Burgin.
“I’m thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life — embracing motherhood and diving into new acting projects," Skai told People. "My heart is so full!”
In August, the 22-year-old actor and her boyfriend were involved in an alleged domestic dispute, which led to Skai being arrested on suspicion of spousal battery. She was released shortly after the arrest.
Around that same time, Skai revealed that she and her boyfriend were engaged.
