What we didn't see during Tenille's shock walkout on the Bachelor

Last night’s episode of The Bachelor saw Nick Cummins, aka the Honey Badger, cancel the rose ceremony at the last minute after Tenille’s shock walkout.

Now Tenille has revealed there was a lot more that led to her surprise decision than the brief chat between her and Nick that played out on TV.

“We had a pretty lengthy chat when we sat down,” the air hostess tells Be. “He was direct about the time and the barrier thing and I explained to him why I had those barriers so I don’t think you saw much of that.

“Because we had been chatting for so long, we were really trying to hash it out and it went for so long. Then it had to come to an end because obviously we had to go into the rose ceremony.”

Tenille also reveals Nick wasn’t the first to know of her decision to leave the mansion, like viewers were led to believe last night.

The 25-year-old first shared her plan with producers and she didn’t agree with their call to action.

“I just knew in my guy it wasn’t going to work so I went over to the producer and that’s when I said to the producer, ‘I need to leave’,” explains Tenille.

“They asked, ‘Do you want to stay in the rose ceremony and see’ and I said ‘No because I just feel it. I feel the vibe of it and I’m happy with that decision and I want to stick to how I’m feeling’.

“I was actually standing there saying ‘I just want to go, I don’t want to stand in the rose ceremony, it’s fine just bring the car around I’ll go’.

“They said the car is out the front, you just go and say it,” Tenille continues.

“I said no because I know Nick’s standing there. I don’t want to make a big scenario out of it. Then he obviously heard what was going on and investigated that.”

Last night viewers saw Nick find Tenille crying behind one of the garden gates, and it was then she told him there was no point sticking around and that she’d rather leave with her dignity intact.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re six foot two and a half and 100 kilos, your heart can get crushed,” Nick then told the camera.

As for Tenille, she says she has no regrets.

The Bachelor continues next Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel Ten.
