Diane Lane Poses With Lookalike Daughter Eleanor in Rare Appearance at 2024 Emmys
For her special night as an Emmy nominee, actress Diane Lane brought a very important person as her date: her daughter, Eleanor Lambert.
Diane and Eleanor arrived at the 2024 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sept. 15 in complementary dresses, with both women looking beautiful in soft shades of pink.
The Feud: Capote vs. The Swans actress stunned in a light pink long-sleeved gown with a gorgeous beaded pattern around the neckline and belt. She paired the dress with a matching clutch and dangling earrings.
By her side, Eleanor wore a long-sleeved dress in a darker blush pink that ended at her calves with a swooping necklace. She also had on dark blue strappy heels and a chic purse in the same color.
With their matching brown hair parted down the middle as they smiled at the camera side by side, the resemblance between Diane and her daughter was uncanny.
The two appeared to enjoy the special night, even though Diane didn't go home with an award. Diane and Eleanor then headed to an afterparty together once the show concluded, switching up their outfits as well.
While Diane stuck with the light pink color scheme, opting for a stylish suit instead of a dress, Eleanor switched things up by wearing a black dress with a deep-V neckline and sequined embellishments all over in bright colors.
Eleanor is Diane's only child, whom she welcomed in 1993 with her ex-husband, French actor Christopher Lambert. The two were married from 1988 to 1994.
Eleanor studied journalism in college and has gone on to work as a writer, model and actress, following in her parents' footsteps.
In an interview with Blogcritics in 2021 about her film Time Now, Eleanor talked about her acting process, saying, "The number one thing I’ve learned is to be fully present...You need to trust that you’ve done the homework, it’s landed in your gut, and now you can let go to be present in the moment."
Eleanor's last acting project was the 2023 short film Waves. She also made an appearance in the show Dead Ringers the same year.
