When a mom wins, her entire family wins with her.
The 2025 Golden Globes occurred on January 5, and the world watched as Demi Moore accepted the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy for her work in the movie The Substance. And while not all of her loved ones could attend the star-studded event, it turned out she had quite a fan base cheering her on right at home.
In a video posted on Demi's daughter Scout Willis'Instagram (Demi also shares daughters Rumer and Tallulah with her ex-husband Bruce Willis), folks got to see how the entire family reacted in real-time to Demi's incredible win. As the camera saw the three sisters sit on the floor with other loved ones, they couldn't hold back their elation when their mother was announced as a Golden Globe winner.
"SHE DID IT 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭," Scout passionately wrote in the caption.
What's more, Tallulah and Rumer ran to the comments to praise their mom winning her first Golden Globe after receiving four nominations throughout her career.
"I love her so f***ing much, I have no words," Tallulah replied. "GO MAMA GO. So so proud of you. Omg I love you so much. So well deserved," Rumer added.
Upon seeing Scout, Rumer and Tallulah's reactions for Demi's Golden Globes win, fans were sentimental watching the family get so emotional online.
"Congratulations to your mom she deserves it. She’s a wonderful actress. And credit was due where it was meant to be," one person commented. "This is the best! Seeing the real people home cheering on their FAMILY!!! Epic! 😍👏," another exclaimed. "This is everything. What a moment for the family! Her speech too 👏🏼🤍," a different follower added.
What an incredible moment for Demi and her entire family! And if that wasn't enough, Demi is making sure folks know she is accepting her worth as an actress after almost five decades of being in the industry.
"I had a woman say to me, 'Just know you will never be enough, but you can know the value of your worth if you just put down the measuring stick,'" she said during her heartfelt acceptance speech. "And so today, I celebrate this as a marker of my wholeness and of the love that is driving me and for the gift of doing something I love and being reminded that I do belong."
Congrats!
