Demi Moore’s Strapless Red Rose Mosaic Gown Is a Wearable Piece of Art
When you think of the 3D floral trend, Blake Lively likely springs to mind. The actor made all things flowers her signature style throughout the mammoth press tour last month for her new film It Ends With Us. Case in point? Her tourdrobe featured everything from floral dresses to crystal-embellished floral jeans, and even extended to her beauty looks (who could forget her boho wildflower braid?!), all in a fitting homage to her character, flower shop owner Lily Bloom.
Blake’s ensembles followed the likes of Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Joey King, and Sabrina Elba, who all put their unique spin on the 3D floral look. But, if you’re thinking surely it’s now all a bit “been there, done that,” prepare yourself for a totally new take courtesy of Demi Moore and her Oscar de la Renta abstract sequin mosaic gown, which beautifully depicts a swathe of red roses.
In the midst of the Moore-naissance that has followed the debut of her new horror thriller, The Substance, at the Cannes Film Festival in May, the 61-year-old actor attended the film’s LA premiere on Monday (September 16). Wearing a black strapless gown with a plunging sweetheart neckline, her ensemble for the occasion can only be described as a walking piece of art, as it was entirely covered in red tiles in the design of roses.
We dread to think how heavy the giant wearable mosaic dress must have been, but it’s 100 percent worth it IMO for such a breathtaking look. Demi kept the rest of her attire simple, opting for delicate silver chandelier earrings, two thin silver bangles, and a stack of silver rings.
From cosplaying the “very demure, very mindful” TikTok trend in a see-through bodysuit dress to her transparent, shaggy hem mini dress and this fresh take on a fashion fave, Demi can not put a fashion foot wrong, RN. Long may the Moore-naissance continue!
