Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' daughters celebrate Moore's Golden Globes win: 'She did it'
"This is a huge win for EVERYONE."
Demi Moore just won big at the Golden Globes, and her daughters' celebration is even bigger.
In a video shared jointly by Scout, Tallulah, and Rumer Willis, as well as the photographer Amanda de Cadenet and florist Eric Buterbaugh, the three children Moore shares with her ex, Bruce Willis, literally jump for joy when their mother's name is called.
"SHE DID IT," daughter Scout wrote in a comment under the video, while Rumer wrote, "GO MAMA GO. So so proud of you. Omg I love you so much. So well deserved." Scout added the follow-up: "This is a huge win for EVERYONE."
In her emotional acceptance speech for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy for her turn as the fading star and fitness influencer Elizabeth Sparkle in The Substance, the 62-year-old revealed, "I've been doing this a long time, like over 45 years, and this is the first time I've ever won anything as an actor."
Moore was nominated at the Globes in 1997 for her performance in If These Walls Could Talk, and then again in 1991 for Ghost. But otherwise, she's right — no Academy Award nominations, one Emmy nod, and a SAG nod, despite over four decades as one of the most bankable actresses in the business.

"Thirty years ago, I had a producer tell me I was a 'popcorn actress,'" she continued in her speech. "At that time, I made that mean that this wasn't something I was allowed to have. That I could do movies that were successful, that made a lot of money, but that I couldn't be acknowledged."
Moore's now the proud recipient of one of the highest acknowledgments in the business, and she prevailed over the tough competition of Amy Adams in Nightbitch, Cynthia Erivo in Wicked, Karla Sofía Gascón in Emilia Pérez, Mikey Madison in Anora, and Zendaya in Challengers to get it.

Willis and Moore were married from 1987 to 2000, opting to raise their daughters out of the spotlight in Moore's hometown of Hailey, Idaho. Moore and her daughters were estranged for three years as a result of Moore's struggle with substance abuse, but they've since reconciled.
Tallulah, the youngest, just announced her engagement to the musician Justin Acee. Moore has been sharing Scout's words of wisdom on the lengthy Substance press tour: "Quit wasting time focusing on all that I'm not when I could be celebrating all that I am."
Rumer, meanwhile, recently gave an update on her father's condition in the wake of his 2023 dementia diagnosis. "Through this experience, what's been so incredible is my dad is so beloved, and that's been so evident in the transparency with which we've been sharing," she said. "And I think if there's any way sharing our experience brings hope — whatever comes forward as a family — that can have an effect and bring any sort of hope, comfort to someone else experiencing that, then to me, that's… everything."
