Delta Goodrem is currently in the Maldives for a series of intimate concerts, but she’s also taking the time to soak up the sun in the tropical destination. The star, 38, first performed alongside boyfriend Matt Copley on Wednesday, followed by a sunset concert finale at the Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives.
In a string of Instagram story posts, the singer gave fans a look at the “reality” behind her glamorous swimsuit photos. During a day of snorkelling in the Maldives with her pals, she looked incredible in a plunging Palm Swimwear one-piece.
Lounging on a water hammock in the ocean, Delta was all smiles as she leaned back. She was the picture of relaxation, with a pair of black sunglasses perched atop her head.
However, her next picture showed what really happened while she was trying to get the perfect shot. The star appeared to be screaming as she clung onto the hammock with waves threatening to wash her away.
In another snap, the Aussie singer looked serene while standing on the edge of a luxury boat. She looked poised in a pair of multicoloured pants, with her hair gently blowing in the wind.
Delta then shared a video taken while she was attempting to get the photo, with the wind wreaking havoc and constantly blowing hair into her face.
The Born to Try singer also posted a selection of snaps from her snorkelling adventure on her Instagram grid.
“So lucky to be here. A day of snorkelling was HILARIOUS all of us trying to swim through the waves not realising how big they would be. Beautiful dolphin joining us on our way back — magical. Loving the Maldives!!!” she wrote in the caption.
Her fans rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts on Delta’s tropical adventure.
“Looks like you’re having the most amazing time! Wish I was there,” one person wrote.
“Paradise!!! Looking amazing and relaxed all,” another added.
“Absolutely stunning, I hope you have a great time!!” a third exclaimed.
“You look like a beautiful mermaid Delta,” another remarked.
