“Days of Our Lives” star Arianne Zucker, subject of lewd Donald Trump tape, logs win in lawsuit against producers

Zucker is suing "Days of Our Lives" producers for sexual harassment.

Actress Arianne Zucker can proceed with a disputed part of her lawsuit against the producers behind her former show, Days of Our Lives, alleging discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, a Los Angeles County judge ruled Thursday.

Zucker, who's mentioned on former President Donald Trump's infamous "grab 'em by the p----" tape, originally filed the suit in February. She portrayed Nicole Walker on the soap opera intermittently between 1998 and 2024. In June, she left after her contract was not renewed.

Initially, Zucker said she experienced "sexually harassing comments and nonconsensual physical touching of a sexual nature" from then co-executive producer Albert Alarr. In her lawsuit, she also named Days of Our Lives production company Corday Productions and co-executive producer Ken Corday as defendants.

This new decision in the case, obtained by Entertainment Weekly, focused on whether Zucker could seek a formal judicial order under California's business code. It specifically banned Alarr from harassment in other workplaces. His team alleged that the business code violation was not applicable.

Rolling Stone reported that Alarr's attorneys argued in a hearing Thursday that Zucker's case should not be affected by the state's business code.

"There have to be allegations he is engaged in continuing behavior," Alarr's lawyer Robert Barta told the court. "He's not even employed. There's no allegation that he's employed anywhere in this industry, as a result of what has transpired. It's a matter of law. There are simply no facts alleged to support a claim for injunctive relief."

Alarr departed the daytime show in August 2023, in the wake of accusations that he made inappropriate comments, groped and forcibly kissed cast members, bullied and intimidated, as well as targeted women for layoffs. The show formally investigated him, and more than 25 Days of Our Lives cast members ended up signing a petition demanding he leave.

However, he denied the allegations in a statement to The Wrap.

"It is important to set the record straight," Alarr said. "Every day, I worked with hundreds of people, the overwhelming majority of whom would disagree with recent mischaracterizations of me. I have been in this industry for decades, and not a single complaint has ever been made against me until now."

He said many allegations against him were "simply false," while "others have been taken so out of context or are so twisted that they are unrecognizable from the truth."
