David Beckham Learns About a Long-Lost Twin Brother in Stella Artois' Super Bowl 2025 Commercial — Get a First Look
The retired soccer legend has some family secrets to learn, shared over a beer
Does David Beckham have a secret sibling?
In a lighthearted trailer for Stella Artois’ forthcoming Super Bowl 2025 commercial, the soccer legend, 49, and his real-life parents, Ted Beckham and Sandra West, share a beer and some groundbreaking news.
“We have something to tell you,” his mom tells him. “You have a twin we never told you about — left him in America,” chimes in his dad. “I always knew there was something missing,” responds the athlete, which his dad tells him was “other David.”
"You called him other David?" David asked and Ted replied bluntly, "If there's two Davids, one has to be other David."
His parents slide over photos of the Davids, but Ted and Sandra cannot agree on which baby is which until David interrupts: "Anyway, where is he?" Suspenseful music begins to play and text on the screen that reads “Who is Other David?” as the ad concludes.
In a press release shared with PEOPLE, Stella Artois said that “the big reveal” will come during the Super Bowl.
This isn't the first time the former player has worked with the European-style lager company. Last year, Beckham, who is the Stella Artois Global Ambassador, shot another commercial where he is "humbled" when several women don't recognize him in a bar.
Though Beckham might not actually have a missing twin — he does have a pair of siblings, older sister Lynne and younger sister Joanne. The trio, all born to the soccer star’s parents, Ted Beckham and Sandra West, grew up together in East London.

Even though they don’t live under the same roof anymore, Beckham has been known to playfully tease his sisters on social media. In 2022, he shared a selfie to Instagram of him eating dinner with his mom, writing in the caption, “Sorry @jo_jo_beckham_ the 👑 was home for dinner 😂.”
Beckham is also a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews: In 2018, Joanne shared a photo of her daughter sporting the same hairdo as her brother, captioning the post, “L O V E . M Y . U N C L E … as if me and uncle david have the same hair! I think he copied me 😂@davidbeckham ! ❤."

Aside from his family, the former England soccer captain made headlines recently, sharing in an interview at the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, that he considers himself “a huge royalist.”
"I always get emotional talking about anything that I do with our royal family,” he told CNBC anchor Sara Eisen during their onstage conversation. “I was brought up in a household that adored and loved everything that came with the royal family."

"Over the years, I've done a lot with the Prince of Wales," he continued, referencing Prince William. "Whenever the Prince of Wales sends me a message and says, 'I need you to do this' or 'Be there', it's always a 'Yes.’ ”
Despite his love for the crown, he’s crossed the pond before for Super Bowl Sunday, starring last year in a commercial for Uber Eats with his wife Victoria, where they recreated their viral “Be Honest” clip from Netflix's Beckham documentary.
