Coulier's 33-year-old son Luc—the only child he shares with his ex, Jayne Modean—is expecting his first child with his wife, Alex, and the actor couldn't be more excited.

"There's a lot to look forward to," he told the outlet, adding that the baby boy is due in March 2025, around the same time Coulier is expected to wrap up his chemotherapy treatment.

In that same conversation, Coulier, 65, revealed that in October, he learned he has stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a common form of blood cancer. He said it was discovered after he developed an upper respiratory infection with "major" and "rapid" swelling in his lymph nodes.

After seeking medical treatment and undergoing several tests, including PET and CT scans and a biopsy, Coulier recalled how his doctor informed him that he had a "very aggressive" form of the disease.

"My doctors called me back and they said, ‘We wish we had better news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin's lymphoma,'" he explained. "'...it's called B cell and it's very aggressive.’”

Thankfully, the disease hadn't spread to his bone marrow, “At that point, my chances of curable went from something low to 90 percent range," he told the outlet.

Coulier said the last few weeks have been "a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey," as he's already started treatment, but knowing his family has a bundle of joy on the way has been a source of strength.

"I'm going to be strong throughout this, not just for me, but I'm going to be strong for [them],” he shared.
