"The Red Velvet Cake Blizzard and Cupid Cake are back for a limited time. The Blizzard features Red Velvet Cake Pieces, Cream Cheese Icing and Vanilla Soft Serve."

Markie Devo explained that while both items are available at some locations now, they'll be on sale nationwide in February.

"Oh I'm having at least 2 of those blizzards!"  wrote one enthusiastic commenter.

Instead of having double the Blizzard, extra-hungry ice cream lovers can opt for the Cupid Cake: According to Allrecipes, the heart-shaped treat is basically like the Red Velvet Blizzard in cake form, featuring layers of vanilla soft serve, red velvet cake, and cream cheese icing—along with Valentine's-themed decorations—and is the perfect size for two people to share.

Introduced in 2014, the Red Velvet Cake Blizzard has been a hit with Dairy Queen fans ever since, with many begging for it to come back all-year round.

"Please bring this back soon! It was the best thing I ever had," pleaded one Instagram user in the comments on a 2022 post from Dairy Queen Canada.

"Please bring it back this year, it’s so so good. Best blizzard ever imo," agreed a second person.

While it's unclear how long the Red Velvet Cake Blizzard and Cupid Cake will be available in 2025, they usually disappear from the menu when February is over—so fans should get their fill while supplies last.
