Courteney Cox says she’s taken design inspiration from her daughter when crafting the look of her her home-care brand, Homecourt.

The actress, 60, was asked whether her daughter, Coco Arquette, as a member of Gen Z, has given her any guidance on how to run the brand's social media, during a talk at the Inc. 5000 45th Annual Conference & Gala.

“She gives great advice. Yes,” the Friends alum said of Coco, 20, who inspired the brand’s Cocomoi collection, released earlier this year.

“When making the mood board for Cocomoi, I told her the idea of what I wanted,” Cox recalled, explaining that she thought it should look “green and wet and woodsy.”

Cox says Coco, whom she shares with ex David Arquette, put together “the most beautiful board” to represent the scent.

“I think if you look at our website and our Instagram, it's just all of the shots are really classy,” the proud mom added. “And the Cocomoi stuff really came from a few words that I said, but her inspiration.

With Cocomoi, Cox branched into bodycare, releasing a perfume, body wash, body mist and body butter, in addition to a candle.

“I am really, really proud of it,” she said of the new collection, adding of Coco’s input,  “She's got great taste and she's got great attitude.”

Cox said she mixed the fragrance, which includes notes of coconut, pepper and cedarwood, at a perfumery before asking her daughter to weigh in on the final product.

“I put together a lot of different things and I gave Coco some choices, and leading her hopefully that she'd pick the one that I knew I was going to use,” she said. “And she did.”

While the mother-daughter duo may agree on scents, there’s one area where they differ.

Cox, who’s a self-professed “clean freak” like her iconic Friends character told PEOPLE last month that Coco “does not” share her passion for organization and cleaning.

“Every now and then, she'll be like, ‘Mom, I cleaned out my room and I feel so good.’ And I go, ‘That's a feeling you could have all the time,’ and it just doesn't happen,” Cox said.

“She's getting older and she does live on her own, and she does take pride in that, which I think is good,” Cox added. “But no, I don't think she has my gene in the same way, and I don't have hers. Listen, she's a great singer. She's a great writer. She has so many qualities that I don't have, so that's okay.”
