Costco shoppers have plenty to choose from when it comes to delicious meals that are as easy to put on the table as they are on the wallet.

During the cold days of winter, social media was all about the warehouse grocer's heat-and-eat meatloaf and mashed potatoes—not just for the ease of preparation, but also for the comfort it brought. In late spring, Costco launched another meal kit (that admittedly had fans divided), and earlier this summer, a popular new Tex-Mex-inspired kit stole fans' hearts.

Now the internet is loving another Costco find—a popular meal kit that's delicious, is quick to make, and looks impressive, too.

Costco’s Stir Fry Kit Is a Dinner Winner

The stir fry kits sold at Costco have been around for a while, but a recent Reddit thread praising this meal inspired us to investigate what all the talk was about.

Commenters on the thread said the meal is “very solid” and that they “get it regularly,” with one saying it's “in my weekly rotation." Another fan said, “I get three solid meals out it for 20 bucks, can't go wrong.”

Costco's stir fry kits can be found in the packaged food section near the rotisserie chicken and are large enough to feed the whole family. A Costco fan account on Instagram shared that the kit is $6.49 a pound.

How To Level Up Costco’s Stir Fry Kit, According to Fans

Costco's stir fry kit typically comes with noodles, fresh veggies, chicken, and sauces that you can stir fry at home. While this meal can simply be made and served as is, many fans on Reddit shared how they customize the kit when whipping up this super easy dinner at home.

Pick the Perfect Kit: When shopping for a stir fry kit at Costco, one Reddit user offers some words of wisdom: "Just have to make sure you get one with a decent amount of veggies, sometimes they skimp.”

Amp Up the Seasonings: Another suggests adding “minced garlic and black pepper” to the mix while cooking.

Add More Veggies: The kit comes with vegetables like broccoli and carrots, but many home cooks said they like “adding more veggies,” one specifically sharing that they toss in “water chestnuts when frying the veggies” to make the meal even heartier.

Take Your Time: Instead of dumping the entire kit into the pan at once, one Reddit user recommends “[getting] a good sauté on the veggies before adding the noodles and sauce."

Power Up Your Protein: Get the most of the chicken included in the kit by trying these fan-approved tips: One Reddit user says they “air fry the Kirkland chicken chunks” before adding them to the pan. Another suggests slicing any larger chicken chunks "into smaller pieces” to help give a “more even distribution” of ingredients.
