Kit Kat Fans Are Rushing to Costco to Get Their Hands on the Sweet New Flavor: 'Waiting Impatiently'

There’s no denying it, snacks have come a long way from our beloved childhood memories. From the go-to name brands down to the lesser-known fan-favorite finds, our access to high-quality snackage is on a whole new level. And just when we thought things couldn’t get any better for our collective sweet tooth, Costco finds a way to step in with yet another hard to resist snack offering: Cotton Candy Kit Kats.

“We are living in a golden age of snacking,” @snackolator captioned a post shared to Instagram highlighting a variety of incoming new snacks set to hit retailers this year. Aside from the arrival of Girl Scouts Thin Mints, Butterbeer Skinny Pop Popcorn, Pickle and Ranch Lay's and Smoked Gouda from the Laughing Cow, we couldn’t be any more hyped for the new cotton candy-flavored Kit Kats.

Fans in the comment section are referring to the new Kit Kat offering as a “must have,” and we can’t blame them since the brand has reportedly been teasing the flavor for nearly 5 years. Now, those who fancy the sugary-sweet flavors of cotton candy and the chocolatey wafer goodness of a Kit Kat can mix the two by way of a 100-count bag now being sold at Costco.

The 49-ounce bag features an assortment of miniature Kit Kat bars that includes chocolate, vanilla and the new cotton candy flavor. The price per bag is currently not yet listed online, however, similar offerings have sold in the past at wholesale clubs such as BJ’s for $13.99. So if you grab your Costco membership card now, you can be one of the lucky few to try the new Cotton Candy Kit Kats before they become available elsewhere.

As of now, Cotton Candy Kit Kats are seemingly sold out everywhere, making this Costco exclusive your best bet for the time being. And while these types of fun flavors are extremely popular overseas in places like Japan, they are slowly picking up steam here in the States as well. Here’s hoping that while the brand makes adjustments to its business, such as discontinuing the fan-favorite vegan Kit Kat, we’ll see new additions like Cotton Candy Kit Kats pop up more often moving forward.
