It’s no secret that when it comes to desserts fit for parties of virtually any size, there’s no better place to shop than Costco. The larger-than-life bulk grocery chain is known for its iconic bakery, filled with sweets and delicacies galore. On any given visit, you can snag a massive Biscoff cream cake, the wondrous holiday treat known as Kirkland Signature's peppermint bark, squishy fruit topped sweet rolls and even a delicious maple butter pecan bar cake.

The secret sauce to Costco’s bakery, though—aside from the fact that it’s utterly delicious—is their unending penchant to deliver new and never before seen goodies that make for show stopping desserts everyone will think you baked from scratch yourself. Sure, we love holiday baking as much as the next person and we’ll never turn down a chance to try out a new recipe, but when we’re in a pinch, Costco always has our back with something even tastier (and larger) than we could’ve dreamt up ourselves. In fact, the latest party-ready sweet is a massive 4-pound cheesecake we might even pick up for Thanksgiving.

Instagrammer @costcoaisles shared a look at the Kirkland Signature Cherry Streusel Cheesecake and fans are saying it “looks yummy.” This sizable cheesecake features a sweet graham cracker crust filled with luscious, creamy cheesecake, topped with juicy cherry filling and textural streusel crumble. Each cheesecake weighs in at about 4.5-pounds and retails at $22.99, which works out to about $2.87 a slice if you cut it into eight even pieces.
As delicious as it looks, some fans weren’t sold on the dessert, however, with one comparing the new cherry option to the mixed berry streusel cheesecake that made the rounds a few months ago. “I tried the mixed berry one and was sadly disappointed. No berry flavor and the streusel tasted stale,” they said.
Although quality can differ depending on when you buy, taste is purely subjective and most shoppers seem on board with the new dessert. One excited shopper simply summed up their feelings with a gif of Naruto’s iconic run and we’ll be joining them on our way to our nearest store, too. See you there!
