"Puberty, after its sweet time for more than 20 years, finally decided to hit me square in the face," he said, claiming that he went from looking like a "13-year-old" to "an actual grown-ish man."

One of the changes that got the most attention was his jaw, leading to the plastic surgery rumors. However, Rife said that the "wider" and "more prominent" features were all from a "bizarrely stunted journey through puberty."

Rife said that people who accused him of getting plastic surgery have a “frightening lack of common sense,” while also claiming that his attractiveness negatively affected his career.

“As a comic, you’re supposed to make the audience like you, right? Well, who the f—k likes attractive people? No one!” he declared in the new book, which came out on Dec. 3.

Rife debuted the new look along with the announcement of his 2025 Stay Golden Tour.
