Coles' new 'collectable' KitchenAid promotion includes $500 item: 'So excited'
Shoppers are already sharing their excitement online after Coles supermarkets announced a new 'collectable' range in partnership with cookware giant KitchenAid.
Beginning in March, Coles customers can earn themselves one of six pieces of matte black stoneware for free using their Flybuys card - with one of the top items very similar to one of KitchenAid's other products worth $499.95.
Shoppers will be able to earn one credit for every $20 spent in a transaction, both in store and online, with the cookware collection being exclusive to Coles.
The items on offer include a mini cocotte, 15cm bowl, a small, medium and large baker, 29cm pie dish - all with their own an eco-friendly bamboo lid - and a 22cm cast iron casserole pot that is safe for use with ovens and stoves, gas or induction.
For the mini cocotte you'll need 26 credits, all the way up to 150 points to get your hands on the cast iron pot.
But that sounds like a lot of money to spend for a 'freebie', Coles has also added 'bonus credits' to 1500 everyday grocery items on 37 participating brands.
Products from Bega, Leggo’s, Chobani, Old El Paso, Finish, Airwick, Colgate, Nescafe, Wellness Road and Continental ranges, will all score you extra points towards your items.
Shoppers have already taken to social media to share their excitement for the cookware items - which follow on from last year's free MasterChef knives promotions.
"Oooo that is exciting, I haven't been interested in the last couple, so will definitely be heading back there for my next shops," one person posted in a Coles Cooking group on Facebook.
"So excited, I like useful things that are practical," another agreed.
"Wow! I LOVE my kitchen aid! One promotion that will definitely get my attention," another said, but added they "just hope it's achievable!"
Coles adds air fryer and affordable kitchenware to Best Buys range
It comes after Coles also announced the expansion of its affordable kitchen offering with new additions to its Best Buys Tidy Kitchen Range this week.
Following the success of last year's launch, savvy Coles customers can now purchase the compact Thomson Scenium 12-litre Digital Air Fryer at select Coles stores for only $99.99.
Meanwhile those who prefer traditional home-style cooking can get their hands on a Culinex Aluminum Non-Stick Frypan Set (22cm and 30cm) for $29.99 per pack – which is cheaper than similar offerungs from competitors.
Each pan in the set boasts a premium ILAG non-stick coating and stainless-steel handles for seamless meal preparation, and can be easily washed in the dishwasher for even more convenience.
Coles General Manager for Non Food, Jonathan Torr, said Coles is constantly looking for ways to offer customers the best value possible.
“The Coles Best Buys program is going from strength to strength, providing customers with an easy and affordable way to upgrade to quality cookware and useful, low-cost kitchen accessories, all at the convenience of their weekly shop,” he said.
“We know our customers are constantly reaching for quick and easy meal options that won’t break the bank, and the brand new 12-litre Digital Air Fryer is the answer. It is the perfect appliance to meet the cooking needs of our time-poor customers, as well as their budget,” he said.
