Coldplay set to pay ‘seven-figure sum’ to ex-manager in lawsuit
Coldplay have reportedly settled a seven-figure lawsuit with their former manager, who sought $12 million (£10 million) in alleged unpaid commissions.
The apparent missing commissions are for two Coldplay albums that haven’t yet been released.
The pop band worked with Dave Holmes for two decades until 2022, but have since been involved in the bitter battle, which saw frontman Chris Martin counter-sue, suggesting the former boss had overspent on their ‘Music of the Spheres’ tour.
However, despite the ongoing incident, Coldplay continued to headline Glastonbury 2024 over last weekend.
Representatives for Coldplay declined to comment on the case.
