"I want to thank all of you for your love and support. My mom and best friend is going to be fine! She will be using medicine that I often talk about. CBD oil! (Cannabis has scientifically proven properties to inhibit cancer cell growth) and other natural healing remedies plus modern medicine to beat this," Chloe wrote alongside a throwback photo of herself with the Grease star.

"Cancer is the disease of our generation and it is part of my and my mothers quest to beat this insidious monster. We both love you all, and anyone fighting this disease you can beat it. Look for natural remedies aswell as what modern medicine can offer. My mom is so powerful she will beat this in no time. All my love to you. And I wish you health wealth and happiness [sic]."

"And my mother has nothing to do with it! My main goal is to help people with cancer. I've seen this plants property's heal and even cure forms of cancer. Can't wait till our products are on shelves to help and make people happy."

On Wednesday morning, Olivia announced she would be postponing her North American tour after her breast cancer returned.

In a statement posted to her Facebook account, Olivia fans she would be back "better than ever" but was "reluctantly" postponing the run of shows when it was found that the cause of her recent "back pain" was diagnosed as breast cancer.

"Olivia Newton-John is reluctantly postponing her June U.S. and Canadian concert tour dates. The back pain that initially caused her to postpone the first half of her concert tour, has turned out to be breast cancer that has metastasized to the sacrum," the statement read.

"In addition to natural wellness therapies, Olivia will complete a short course of photon radiation therapy and is confident she will be back later in the year, better than ever, to celebrate her shows.

"'I decided on my direction of therapies after consultation with my doctors and natural therapists and the medical team at my Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre in Melbourne, Australia,'" Olivia said via the post.

"There will be no interview requests accepted at this time as Olivia’s focus is on her treatment and healing."

First diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992, Olivia has previously opened up about surviving the illness more than two decades ago, saying while it was a difficult time in her life, upon reflection it was a "gift".
