Chick-fil-A Just Brought Back Its Most 'Crowd-Pleasing' Item
Just in time for the big game.
In case no one has reminded you lately, agreeing to host a gathering doesn’t mean all the food needs to be made from scratch. Your guests will still appreciate the efforts even if you don’t spend hours making the world’s best lasagna or serving homemade soft pretzels on the appetizer table.
While the biggest season for entertaining is behind us, there’s one upcoming event that’s sure to get cooks of all ages in the kitchen again—the Super Bowl. We may not know which teams will be going head to head just yet, but it’s never too early to start planning out the game day spread. Whether your goal is to keep it simple with a few tried-and-true appetizers or you intend to go all—out with a snack stadium, it never hurts to employ your favorite restaurants to fill in the gaps and make sure the party is a success.
This year, Chick-fil-A is serving up a sports-themed catering option that’s sure to make the crowd go wild.
Chick-fil-A’s Football-Shaped Trays
Chick-fil-A’s Football-Shaped Trays come with 30 of the restaurant’s popular crispy chicken nuggets. Those who order in the morning have access to the breakfast version, which contains 10 Chick-n-Minis. These golden nuggets are nestled into soft mini yeast rolls and brushed with melted honey butter.
The crowd-pleasing trays have been on menus since kick-off in the fall but will soon exit as the season comes to a close. The last chance to snag a football-shaped tray will be on Feb. 8, the day before the big game. Fans who wish to order will have to do so ahead of time because the Super Bowl falls on Sunday—the one day a week the chain is not open. And yes, that means you’ll have to heat up the nuggets yourself. But don’t worry, all you have to do is pop them into the oven or air fryer until warm.
Since Chick-fil-A’s Football-Shaped Trays are a large order item, you can find them in the catering section of the Chick-fil-A app. However, you’ll likely have better luck calling your local store for information on availability.
And if homemade food is a deal breaker for your celebration, we understand. Don’t miss our list of Chick-fil-A copycats with everything from frosted lemonade to chocolate chip cookies, and even the chain’s famous dipping sauce—just don’t forget to scale up the recipes to fit your crowd size.
