Chick-fil-A’s Banana Pudding Milkshake Is Coming Back for the First Time in 13 Years

The menu is also getting honey pepper pimento chicken sandwiches and banana frosted coffee on Aug. 26

Chick-fil-A’s fall menu is bananas.

The chicken chain’s fan-favorite banana pudding milkshake is returning for a limited time on Monday, Aug. 26. This is the fruit-forward item’s first time back on menus in 13 years, according to Chick-fil-A.

The frozen treat is made with real banana vanilla ice cream and vanilla wafer cookies. It is topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

Chick-fil-A is bringing banana flavor to more items than the shake. The new banana frosted coffee combines the same elements of the milkshake (ice cream, banana and wafer cookies) but also adds cold brew coffee. Unlike the milkshake, the new banana beverage does not have whipped cream nor a cherry on top (but probably could if you asked!).

The next returning item has only been off the menu for one year but that doesn’t make it any less exciting.

The honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich was the most-ordered limited-time item when it was available in 2023, according to a press release, and is back with a twist. The popular sandwich is now available with original chicken or spicy chicken. Whichever filet flavor a customer chooses, the sandwich is also topped with honey, pimento cheese and pickled jalapeños and served on a toasted bun.

Krispy Kreme also has a batch of returning items in August.

The doughnut chain rolled out two beloved fall items on Aug. 12: the pumpkin spice cake doughnut and pumpkin spice latte.

The fan-favorite doughnut is both old-fashioned style and glazed. It is sold individually and in a dozen-pack at bakery locations or in six-packs at select grocery stores nationwide.

The pumpkin spice lattes are available hot, iced or frozen and all come with whipped cream on top.

Plus, customers can expect even more pumpkin goodies this fall from Krispy Kreme.

“It’s August and we’re all ready for pumpkin spice, somehow. So, we’re bringing back the classics you’re craving,” Krispy Kreme's global chief brand officer Dave Skena said in a press release. “Our fans want their Krispy Kreme Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut and Latte right now, and we’re here for it. Stay tuned though, we’re not done spicing up the season.”
