The Chelsea Handler-hosted 2025 Critics Choice Awards have been postponed as a series of wildfires continue to spread through southern California.

As evacuation orders and casualties sweep the region, the Critics Choice Awards canceled its originally planned ceremony on Sunday, Jan. 12 at  7 p.m. ET/PT. Instead, the Critics Choice Awards will broadcast on Sunday, Jan. 26 live on E! and stream on Peacock the following day. The event will remain at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

"This unfolding tragedy has already had a profound impact on our community," Critics Choice Association CEO Joey Berlin said in an emailed statement. "All our thoughts and prayers are with those battling the devastating fires and with all who have been affected."
