A woman has revealed how a SnapChat filter ended up helping her bust her cheating boyfriend in a TikTok clip that has since gone viral.
Sophie took to the popular video platform to share how she used a 'Magic 8 Ball' filter a few months ago to ask whether her boyfriend was cheating on her.
The automated filter's response was "You better believe it". And while her partner appeared shocked at the time, assuring her that he "wasn't cheating", Sophie this week revealed that he WAS actually cheating on her.
Followers shocked by the revelation asked Sophie in the comments to share how she ended up finding out the truth.
"My ex was on vacation at the time, he had no service, so he gave me his Snapchat password," Sophie explained in a follow up clip on TikTok.
While maintaining his 'streaks' [a feature that counts how many days you consistently message your friends] she ended up using his account to dig into messages, when one of her friends told her he had slept with someone else.
She shared the shock revelation on her own Snap Chat story, before logging back into his account to see if there were any reactions, and sure enough the woman in question had responded.
In the comments, Sophie said the other woman "had no clue" the couple were together.
Apparently her boyfriend "lied to her and told her he was single", so she has no bad feelings towards the other woman.
The original clip has since clocked up 5.6M views with people taking to the comments
"His face said 'damn how did it know!'," one person commented.
"Omg his facial expression gave it away, he looked guilty, guilty," another mused.
While a third wrote: "He looked nervous!"
