Charli XCX Challenges ‘The Idea of Boundaries’ As the New Face of Acne Studios
Charli XCX is the new face of Acne Studios. The “360” artist models styles from the new spring 2025 coated denim collection, along with accessories from the Stockholm-based luxury fashion house in its latest campaign.
Talia Chetrit captured candid shots for the new campaign, featuring Charli in both domestic and outdoor spaces in Los Angeles. Among the pieces Charli models in the campaign, the “Apple” singer sports coated iridescent and painted trompe-l’oeil denim styles.

As for accessories, Charli poses with the Multipocket and Bowlina bag. The collaboration with Charli coincides with the Swedish label’s Acne People program, expanding into the music space. Charli’s campaign with Acne Studios follows the brand’s partnership with Spotify announced last June.
During her “Sweat” tour alongside Troye Sivan last summer, Charli wore pieces courtesy of Acne Studios and is a longtime admirer of the brand. “I’ve been wearing Acne Studios forever in my personal life and the brand has become a really important part of this album, too,” Charli said, referencing her album “Brat,” which debuted last June.
“I was wearing Acne Studios whilst I was writing this record and I’ve been wearing Acne Studios on stage throughout my tour. The clothes are effortless and cool and always make me feel confident. It’s a dream to work with the Acne Studios team,” she said.
“We’re always drawn to personalities and creative energies that are unafraid to explore and challenge the idea of boundaries,” said Jonny Johansson, Acne Studios’ creative director. “What’s fascinating about Charli is how she blurs the lines between underground and mainstream, pulling these worlds together rather than apart, which speaks to me. She makes pop music, but she also has something pretty punk about her,” Johansson said.
“Her influence is a bit like a mood shift — ultimately, she makes space for artists to be a bit more daring, and that’s exciting. Her ability to bring a new perspective and push boundaries in an authentic way is something she does very naturally, which is precisely why she feels so aligned with what we do at Acne Studios.”
The coated denim and trompe-l’oeil collection, along with the design house’s ready-to-wear, bags and accessories from the spring 2025 collection, are available in Acne Studios stores worldwide and online.
