Celebrity MasterChef: Tilly Ramsay misses out as Nick Riewoldt crowned winner
It all came down to three, as AFL player Nick Riewoldt, Tilly Ramsay, daughter to chef Gordon, and fashion designer Collette Dinnigan went head-to-head in the Celebrity MasterChef grand finale on Monday night.
While many had pegged their hopes on Tilly, in the end it was Nick Riewoldt who was crowned the winner of Celebrity MasterChef for 2021.
For the final challenged the remaining contestants had to recreate a bizarre-looking dessert called the ‘Metropolis’, created by top chef Martin Benn.
"The shell is cocoa butter and white chocolate shell with charcoal powder," Chef Benn explained to the stars, adding it also had coconut Chantilly cream, praline crunch, chocolate cream, a fermented cherry gel and a caramel chocolate mousse.

Viewers watching on at home were stunned by the high-grade dish, with one person saying on social media: "I’d be on the floor crying if I had to make The Metropolis…"
"OH. MY. GOD. THE METROPOLIS. I’d be walking out of that kitchen right about now," another said.
While a third wrote: "Could not care less who makes it, but I’ll have 17 of the Metropolis’ please."
It took the finalists four hours to complete their dish, before Nick came out on top.
Chef Benn said Nick's version had “everything we were looking for,” while MasterChef judge Jock Zonfrillo said it was “99% there.”
Meanwhile Tilly, Ramsay scored a total of 34 out of 40 from the judges, while Collette was given a total of 30 out of 40.
AFL star Nick Riewoldt was the number one prediction to win the competition across Sportsbet, Neds and Ladbrokes before the finale aired.
Nick, Tilly and Collette outlasted fellow stars including Back to the Rafters' Rebecca Gibney, comedian and Logie winning star Dilruk Jayasinha and Ian Thorpe to name just a few.
