The Cast of ‘Suits LA’ is Filled With Some of Our TV Faves
No offense to Barney Stinson, but when it comes to suiting up, no one does it better than, well, Suits. (I mean, it’s right there in the name, guys.) The world of Harvey Specter and Mike Ross had everything you could hope to want in a legal drama — exciting court cases, inner-office romances (and bromances), Meghan Markle — which is a large part of what makes the latest Suits spinoff, Suits LA so intriguing. Spinoffs and reboots aren’t always a guaranteed success, but if the cases are appealing and the characters are entertaining, this series could very well warrant our attention (a little legal jargon — you’re welcome).
Speaking of which, the cast of Suits LA is made up of quite a few memorable faces, many of whom you’re bound to recognize from other beloved shows. And, as an added bonus, there’s even an OG Suits member who’s joined the ranks. No objections here!
Here is everything you need to know about the cast and characters of Suits LA…
Stephen Amell as Ted Black
Amell serves as the main character of the series, Ted Black, a charming yet shrewd prosecutor who co-owns the law firm, Black Lane Law, in Los Angeles. Think of him like the Harvey Specter of the west coast, and according to the trailer, Ted and Harvey have some shared history together, which I’m sure will be explored as the season progresses.
Amell first became a household name during his memorable portrayal of Oliver Queen in The CW series Arrow. He also starred as Casey Jones in the 2016 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Josh McDermitt as Stuart Lane
Stuart is the other co-owner of the law firm and a long time friend of Ted’s, which explains how the two of them ended up in business together. Because if Batman and Robin have taught us anything, it’s that fighting crime is so much more fun when you do it with friends.
McDermitt is best known for his role as Eugene Porter on the popular AMC series, The Walking Dead. His other acting credits include appearances in Twin Peaks, Mad Men, and The Kids Are Alright.

Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodsen
Rick works in the law firm’s entertainment sector and serves as Ted’s protege, of sorts. This casting choice is particularly exciting for One Tree Hill fans who will undoubtedly recognize Greenberg from his days on the teen drama series where he played Jake Jagielski. He also has been in The Mindy Project, Bride Wars, How to Make It in America, Prime, and Friends with Benefits.

Lex Scott Davis as Erica Rollins
Ambitious, determined, driven — these are all terms that would accurately describe Erica, one of Ted’s employees who is looking to climb the corporate ladder as quickly as possible. As for Davis herself, her acting resume includes roles in The First Purge, All Rise, Training Day, and The L Word: Generation Q. She also portrayed Toni Braxton in the 2016 Lifetime movie Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart.

Victoria Justice as Dylan Pryor
Dylan serves as an important client of the firm, which means it’s Ted’s job to keep her happy. But will he succeed? Only time will tell. And speaking of happy, Nickelodeon fans will be thrilled to see Justice back on their screens, having starred in the widely popular kid shows Zoey 101 and Victorious. In addition, she played Lindy Sampson in the criminally underrated series Eye Candy and took on the role of Janet Weiss in Fox’s 2016 production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again.

Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter
You don’t need a law degree to recognize the one and only Harvey Specter. Macht confirmed via Instagram that he would be reprising the beloved character in the new spin-off series. As per the trailer, it seems Ted and Harvey have history together from “the old days” and they share a mutual cockiness, which is something Ted has always admired. But how will their paths cross in the future? That remains to be seen.
Aside from starring in the original Suits, Macht was also in Behind Enemy Lines, Because I Said So, The Others, and even appeared in an episode of Sex and the City as Carrie’s modelizer friend, Barkley.

Troy Winbush as Kevin
Kevin is a longtime friend of Ted’s friend and a former FBI agent who has shifted gears to become a private detective — something that could prove to be pretty handy for Ted and his various cases. Winbush is most recognized for his recurring role as Denny on The Cosby Show, but has also appeared on CSI: Miami, Touched by an Angel, NYPD Blue, and The Big Bang Theory.

Alice Lee as Leah
Leah is an up-and-coming member of the Black Lane Law team and serves as an associate attorney who will work closely with Erica. You’d most likely recognize Lee for her portrayal of Emily in the musical comedy series Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist. Some of her other projects include Take Two, 2 Broke Girls, The Mindy Project, and Switched at Birth.

Azita Ghanizada as Roslyn
Roslyn is Ted’s secretary. They’ve worked together for a while at this point and he trusts her completely, which is more than he may be able to say about some of his other colleagues. Anyone else picking up on a potential Harvey-Donna parallel? Just throwing it out there! Meanwhile, Ghanizada’s past work include roles on United States of Al, Good Trouble, Baller, Castle, Entourage, and Elementary.

Rachelle Goulding as Samantha
Samantha and Ted have a complicated relationship. For starters, they work for competing law firms, which automatically makes them semi-rivals. Add that to the fact that they also used to date and you’ve got all the right ingredients for a love-hate dynamic. But as for which feeling will win out in the end — I’m afraid the jury’s still out on that one.

Maggie Grace as Amanda Stevens
Amanda is a pro bono lawyer who rents office space at the firm, which means she’s sure to pop up from time to time to offer Ted some advice (or criticism, if the occasion calls for it). As for Grace, she’s more recently known for her roles in the Taken franchise as well as Fear the Walking Dead. However, in my heart she will always be remembered best for her portrayal of Shannon on the ABC hit series, Lost. Let’s just hope that her character doesn’t need to go on any international flights in the near future.
