Carrie Underwood Fans Beg Singer to Try a New Career Path After Latest Social Media Update

Some of Carrie Underwood’s fans are suggesting the singer consider trying out a new career path in the wake of her latest social media upload.

In addition to being an award-winning performer, American Idol’s Season 4 winner and current judge often shares snapshots of the food she grows on her family’s Tennessee farm. For her latest post on Wednesday, Jan. 8, Underwood explained to her fans how she has been using all of the garlic that she recently collected in the root cellar on her property.

“I’ll have a new crop coming later this year so I figured I might as well preserve last year’s haul,” the “Before He Cheats” singer explained in her Instagram caption. “I pickled some, minced and pressure canned some and dried some for garlic powder.”

Underwood’s five-part Instagram carousel began with a photo of the dozens of heads of garlic that prompted the project. As she revealed in the snapshots that followed, she first peeled the garlic before separating some cloves to be pickled and others to be dried. The final photo showed the end result, with some garlic pressed into fine powder while other cloves were saved for later use in clear glass jars.

“Our whole house now smells like garlic, but I’m happy with how it all turned out! Now it’s ready to use when I need it! 🧄,” Underwood, 41, added.

Fans who left comments on the “Cowboy Casanova” singer’s post applauded her efforts to make the most out of the food grown on her farm, with some suggesting they’d like an inside look at how she stores items in her root cellar while others wished they could “just live at your house” so that they could "eat all of this yumminess.”

“You amaze me! Well done 👏 I love garlic 🧄,” one fan wrote.

“I did the same just recently!” another fan shared before encouraging Underwood to “Get it girl!”

One fan urged the “Jesus, Take the Wheel” singer to consider focusing her talents in a new direction, writing, “I feel like you need to do a cookbook” before suggesting “Jesus take the kitchen” as a potential title. A few others echoed the recommendation, with one noting that they “love” the title suggestion, while another dubbed it “awesome!”

Others pitched different variations on food-related career paths for Underwood. “Would love to see you have a blog on your canning and gardening,” one Instagram user wrote.

“You are amazing at everything you can!" another hopeful fan gushed. "You need a cooking series showing us all how to do it!”
