"After the initial sadness of the separation with Carrie, we've all encouraged him to put himself 'out there' again," the friend shared. "He’s trying his luck with dating apps – he’s a little rusty given his lack of experience with them, but he’s certainly had plenty of interest so far. It’s still early days, though, and he’s not ready to dive straight back into a relationship, but he’s open to meeting someone new."

Carrie announced her split with Chris on Instagram in January, sharing a statement that read: "It's with immense sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate".

"While this is a tough time, our focus is on parenting, loving and supporting our three children Ollie, Evie and Addie with everything we've got. They are doing great."
