If you're looking to add some flavour to your cooking without making too much effort, add a jar of Henry Langdon's Australian Lemon Myrtle Sea Salt Rub to your pantry for just $13.
Made with premium coarse grade sea salt flakes and Australian Lemon Myrtle, it's delicious rubbed on meat or veggies, before roasting, grilling or barbecuing.
It also works sprinkled on roast potatoes and is especially delicious on top of morning eggs with avocado toast.
The family behind Henry Langdon has spent the last 170 years travelling to exotic and remote culinary destinations in search of the world's finest herbs, spices and botanicals. Started by Englishman Henry Langdon in 1852, the brand first supplied much-needed provisions to the Victorian goldfields, as well as little indulgences likes spices, chocolate and champagne. Five generations on and the company is still Australian family-owned and operated, with rubs hand-packed in Melbourne.
Smashed potato recipe
Henry Langdon's smashed potato recipe is sure to wow your dinner guests every time. To make them, pre-heat your oven to 180°C. Then poke the potatoes (with skin on) with a fork, before placing them in a dish with half a cup of water, then put into the microwave.
Once the potatoes are soft, remove them from the microwave and place on a baking tray. Then, gently flatten them with the base of a mug, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and follow up with a generous sprinkle of the Henry Langdon Australian Lemon Myrtle & Sea Salt Rub.
Next, place the potatoes in the oven for around 30 minutes, or until crispy, and serve with meat or salad. Or just enjoy them on their own.
