Welcome to Yahoo Lifestyle's exclusive 4-week Cardio Workout Challenge with Keep It Cleaner’s Laura Henshaw. If you're stuck at home and struggling to get your body moving this winter, we've got you covered, with a new cardio-themed workout session that will get your heart pumping each week.
Laura Henshaw loves Cardio, and HIIT because it gets your heart rate up really quickly through short bursts of intense exercise.
In this 20-minute workout, you can expect to sweat it out doing 45 seconds of each exercise with a 15 second break. Complete three laps.
Cardio workout challenge Week 1: Full Body HIIT
Bulgarian Split Squat - Relax your back foot, lean your chest down slightly and drop straight up and down. 10 on each side then switch legs.
High Knees - Brace your core, keep your chest up and stay light on your toes
Push Up Mountain Climbers - Brace your abs and your glutes. Rip your knees up towards your chest, keeping your hips nice and steady!
Walking Lunges - Put your weight through the front heel and bring your chest slightly forward.
Squat Hold - Chin down, hips back, knees out, weight through the heels and get low!
Push Up Knees - Hands just outside of shoulder width, elbows at 45 degrees, brace abs and glutes, extend all of the way up at the top
Squat Jumps - Land softly, bring your hips into full extension and squeeze your glutes at the top!
