Can you spot what's seriously spooky about this pic?
A photo has resurfaced that is seriously creeping us out.
A group of women gathers for a photo by the shores of Loch Eck, in Scotland.
They’re there for a hen’s weekend and they clearly couldn’t be more excited.
But after they’ve taken a couple of snapshots with the self-timer, they look at the camera and discover something very eerie.
The figure of a young, dark-haired boy appears to be crouching on the ground behind a fallen tree, just near the group.
But only in one of the photos.
The women did some Googling after they noticed the bizarre addition to their party, and let’s just say they were horrified by what they discovered.
The area is known for its legend of the “Blue Boy”, a small child who drowned in the freezing lake in the 19th century.
The four-year-old is said to haunt The Coylet Inn, a nearby hostelry overlooking the lake.
The haunting was the subject of a 1994 movie starring Emma Thompson, the screenwriter of which spoke at the time about his real-life inspiration.
“I was talking to the hotelier about it and he mentioned the Blue Boy,” Paul Murton said in an interview at the time.
“This, he said, was a young child who had been on holiday with his parents in the hotel and he had been sleepwalking during the night. He had strayed outside, fallen into the loch, and drowned. When they found his body it was blue with the cold.
“Hotel staff had noticed that things like cutlery and plates were often out of place for no apparent reason – perhaps more sinister than that was the fact that they sometimes found wet footprints upstairs in the corridor.”
