A pair of frisky golden retrievers have hilariously ruined an innocent family portrait by getting it on in front of the camera.

When Liam Bornovski flew back to visit family in his hometown of Koror, Palau, he was excited to pose for a special portrait with his loved ones to ‘remember the good times’.

The 23-year-old, who lives in New York City, US, said it was only right that their beloved five-year-old dogs, Finn and Nemo, be included in the photograph as they are part of the family.

But Liam, who works in the music industry, said he never imagined the pair of male golden retrievers – who are actually brothers – would ‘get it on’ just as the photograph was being taken late last month.

“The photographer went to take the picture and Nemo just starting humping his brother. I couldn’t believe it,” Liam said.

“I know it’s kind of weird that a male dog would do this to his brother, but I think it is kind of a dominance thing.

“Nemo always seems to hump his brother. He is tiny, he was the runt of the litter so I think he does it so he can feel dominant.

“Everyone cracked up laughing, it was hilarious. You can see our reaction in the photo which is just priceless.”

And after sharing the hilarious snap online it has gone viral – racking up more than 15,000 likes and shares on Facebook in a matter of days.

Liam said he loves the photograph so much that plans on framing it to hang on the wall – adding it is the best portrait that his family have taken

“It’s so nice to have captured such a funny moment,” he said.

“They’re both really sweet dogs and we love them so much. It was just something funny that happened, we’ll never forget it.

“Now we will have this hilarious photo to remember the moment forever. It’s perfect.”
