Camila Cabello Teases Her Summer-Themed “C,XOXO” Album with Self-Narrated Trailer: 'For: You, From: C'
The trailer arrives just a few days after the "I Luv It" singer unveiled the release date and cover artwork for her upcoming fourth studio album
Camila Cabello is ready to unleash her forthcoming album, C, XOXO.
After unveiling the album’s title, cover artwork and release date, the "Havana" singer, 27, gifted fans a trailer narrated by her on Thursday, May 9, writing on her socials, “for: you, from: c, xoxo 💌.” In the visual, she illuminates the album’s carefree summertime theme against the backdrop of her Miami hometown.
“She likes to drive with the windows down so she can hear what the city’s saying at night,” Cabello begins the two-minute teaser. “She likes its broken English; its all-over-the-place music taste.”

The Grammy-nominated “Oh Na Na” artist continues detailing what she appreciates most about her city’s nighttime scene, saying, “She likes seeing the neon colors of the Caribbean in the backdrop of Teslas and skyscrapers in the first world, Caribbean, Tokyo.”
“They always said the city would be underwater by now — then again, that’s what they said about her,” she added, seemingly referring to those who have doubted her success. “I guess they both learned how to swim.”
The Fifth Harmony alum then delves into her Miami summer plans, warning folks not to be “so scared of bodies, curves and skin” that’ll be on full display because the city is “too hot for jeans” and foundation that’ll “just melt away anyway.”
“We tan because what’s the difference? We fly too close to the sun anyways,” Cabello continues. “The sun is our only constant lover, the way he kisses our skin and our hair. No wonder we feel so pretty.”
The singer concludes the clip by saying although she takes trips “out in L.A. and New York and s---, when all is said and done, you hear her screaming, ‘305 ‘til I die, bitch’.“
C, XOXO is Cabello's fourth studio album, following 2018’s Camila, 2019's Romance and 2022's Familia. The LP’s trailer arrives a little over a month after its first single, “I Luv It” featuring Playboi Carti, dropped on March 27, marking a new sound and era for the “Señorita” songstress.
The "Shameless" artist performed the new song for the first time at Coachella in April during Lana Del Rey's headlining set on the second weekend.
Next up, she’ll release her new single, “He Knows,” a collaboration with Lil Nas X, on Friday, May 10. Two days before, the singer announced the song’s arrival via social media, teasing potential lyrics like, “SHE’S A PROVOCATEUR, DANCEFLOOR CONNOISSEUR 💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼.”
C, XOXO is due June 28.
