Yahoo Lifestyle Camila Alves Sparkles in Oscar de la Renta with Matthew McConaughey at 2025 Joy Awards
Camila Alves made a glittering entrance at the 2025 Joy Awards in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, where she was joined by her husband Matthew McConaughey.
Alves wore a yellow Oscar de la Renta one-shoulder dress adorned with sequins, which came from the label’s fall 2024 collection. She accessorized with Jimmy Choo heels and Alexis Bittar jewelry, including chunky gold bangles and statement earrings.

Shiona Turini, who also works with Beyoncé, styled Alves for the occasion. Hairdresser and makeup artist Michael Ashton, meanwhile, styled Alves’ dark tresses in a wavy “wet look,” while her makeup consisted of shimmery champagne eyeshadow and lip gloss.
McConaughey, meanwhile, sported a Brioni suit and bow tie.
Christina Aguilera was also in attendance at the annual Joy Awards, which celebrates achievements in the Arab entertainment industry.
Alves and McConaughey have been married since 2012 and have three children together: Levi, Vida and Livingston, born between 2008 and 2012.
In November, Alves invested in the skin care brand OneSkin, a peptide-infused line that promotes healthy aging. OneSkin secured a $7 million series A investment, bringing its total funding to $20 million.
The oversubscribed round was led by Selva Ventures, a previous investor that the brand has been working with the last two years, with participation from Alves, Plus Capital, Unilever Ventures, Able Partners, tech entrepreneur Kevin Rose and former investors SOSV and Meta Planet.
“We knew that we could utilize more resources to fuel the company’s growth, so we actually went around and talked to several investors, and luckily, we got several term sheets,” said cofounder, chief executive officer and Ph.D. Carolina Reis de Oliveira. “We saw a lot of interest in OneSkin and what we’re doing in our positioning and the traction that we got so far.”
