'Call Her Daddy' host Alex Cooper announces new drink 'designed specifically for women'
Entrepreneur and host of the wildly popular podcast "Call Her Daddy," Alex Cooper is stepping into the beverage market with the launch of a new drink "designed specifically for women."
Unwell Hydration, described as "all-new functional beverage," and "your new best friend … with benefits" is an electrolyte-infused drink dropping on Target on the first day of 2025. The drink is produced in partnership with Nestlé, Cooper shared at the New York Times DealBook Summit Wednesday.
"This unapologetically authentic new beverage line was designed by women for women, because wellness isn't about striving for perfection 24/7," Unwell Hydration said in a news release Thursday. "It's about making the most of every moment and embracing the chaos along the way."
In a post on Instagram, Cooper wrote Unwell Hydration is "for every version of you."
"I love you Daddy Gang, get Unwell soon," she added.
Cooper announced the drink on the heels of another strong year: Her podcast, "Call Her Daddy," just claimed the number two spot on Spotify Wrapped's top podcasts in the U.S.
Alex Cooper: What is the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast?
On what makes the drink different than others available in the market, Cooper told Elite Daily she was fed up with seeing all hydrating drinks being marketed towards men.
"What makes it stand out is the reason behind it," Cooper told Elite Daily. "I recognized almost every single hydrating drink is marketed toward men. It’s always about high performance, like 'You have to be this professional athlete to be drinking this.' But Unwell Hydration is more like, 'I’m literally rotting on my couch, and I just want my skin to glow.'"
Here's what to know about Cooper's latest drop.
Unwell Hydration flavors
The beverage will be available in three flavors: Strawberry, Mango Citrus and Orange Hibiscus.
Each bottle of Unwell Hydration contains more than 700mg of electrolytes, a blend of B-complex vitamins, 4g of sugar and green coffee extract "to serve up rapid hydration and focus so you can continue to be impressively unstoppable," the company said in a news release, adding the beverage contains "flavors and colors from only natural sources."
How to buy Unwell Hydration
Unwell Hydration will be available exclusively in stores and online at Target starting Jan. 1, 2025, for around $2.49 per 16.9 fl.oz bottle and $14.99 for an 8-pack.
The product will expand to other retailers across the U.S. in 2025, the news release said.
