The Bunnings living room chair everyone's going wild for in isolation

We may be missing the sausage sizzle from Bunnings but there’s a new item that’s sending people wild in the DIY store.

People all over Instagram have fallen in love with what’s been described as a ‘peacock’ chair from the Aussie retailer, which looks just as comfortable as it does stylish.

The chair, which is thought to have launched into stores at the beginning of April, is part of the shop’s Home Bazar range, which also features coffee tables, stools and a lounge.

Coming in at $159, the chair isn’t for the bargain hunters, however, many people online are saying it’s well worth the price tag for the statement piece of furniture.

“Omg Bunnings your killing me,” one person said alongside a series of love heart emojis on a photo of a selection of the chairs on Instagram.

Others agreed, saying: “Love these options! Obsessed “ and “Seriously Bunnings are amazing”.

Another person couldn’t believe their eyes at the price tag, saying they had just bought a similar chair from another retailer and it cost $500.

“This collection is such great value & style,” a commenter said.
