Brooklyn Beckham Says Marrying Wife Nicola Peltz was the 'Best Decision' in PDA-Packed Birthday Tribute

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham celebrated wife Nicola Peltz Beckham’s 30th birthday with the sweetest words.

In honor of the Lola director’s milestone celebration on Jan. 9, Brooklyn, 25, shared a heartfelt message along with a series of couple's photos to Instagram.

The carousel includes a polaroid snapshot of the pair kissing, as well as a selfie of Brooklyn nuzzling Nicola’s cheek. The third image is of the two sharing a sweet moment in front of a sunset.

“Dear Nicola, happy birthday baby. I will keep this short, but I want to write down a little of how much I love you. A few years ago I asked you to marry me and it was the best decision I have ever made,” the model began in the caption.

He continued: “You make me smile and laugh and you are the most amazing and most gorgeous person I know. I am so lucky to be able to spend every day with you and wake up next to you every morning.”

The Cloud23 hot sauce founder also gushed about all the qualities he loves about his significant other. “I love your smile, your laugh, your passion about your work, your love for dogs, I just love the way you are. You are perfect in every way,” he concluded.

Brooklyn and Nicola wed on April 9, 2022 during an elegant black-tie affair hosted at her family’s estate in Palm Beach, Florida. They were surrounded by loved ones, including Nicola’s grandmother, parents Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner and her seven siblings, as well as Brooklyn's parents — Victoria and David Beckham — and three siblings, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

Their nuptials were commemorated during a multiday affair scheduled with welcome cocktails and a reception in addition to the ceremony. The bride wore custom Valentino Haute Couture to walk down the aisle and the groom wore custom Dior.

At the time, a source told PEOPLE that Mel C, Serena and Venus Williams, Jordana Brewster, Gordon Ramsay, and Eva Longoria were in attendance.

Another insider revealed that David Blaine performed magic for the guests during the cocktail hour before Marc Anthony performed four songs for the happy couple towards the end of the reception.

In April 2024, Nicola spoke with PEOPLE about her second wedding anniversary with Brooklyn, gushing over married life and comparing it to a “never-ending sleepover.”

“I feel like when you're on a sleepover or a play date and it's like you're always like, ‘oh, can they sleep over again?’ And you just are on a never-ending sleepover play date,” she said. “That's how we feel. He really is my best friend. I feel like that.”

Shortly after, Brooklyn opened up to InStyle about growing their family, noting at the time that kids were a big topic of discussion. “I always wanted to be a young dad, but, obviously, [it’s] up to my wife,” he said. “My wife really wants kids as well. So soon, hopefully.”
