Britney Spears' X-rated Instagram post following book success

The superstar has dropped a number of bombshell revelations in her new memoir.

Britney Spears has been dominating headlines all week with the release of her book The Woman In Me.

From her admission to having an abortion with Justin Timberlake, to her surprise reveal that she was almost cast in The Notebook, the memoir has delivered Britney a way to finally tell her side of the story, decades after being thrown into the spotlight.

In her own words, Britney retired from music four years ago, and despite dominating headlines still - from her book to her recent divorce from Sam Asghari - she seems to be opting to try and live a life outside of the spotlight.

Earlier this week, Britney had one comment about her book on Instagram, saying that the purpose of the book wasn't to 'offend anyone' and stating that she didn't like the headlines she was reading.

"Most of the book is from 20 years ago... I have moved on and it's a beautiful clean slate from here! It has given me closure on all things for a better future," she said in her post.

Since the above message, it's been business as usual for Britney on Instagram — the star has gone back to uploading videos showing off outfits as well as random images like water running in a bath and a cake that says 'see you in hell'.

But the superstar has now uploaded a cheeky photo for her fans looking free and fit, going nude on a beach.

The photo has no caption or comments turned on but has been liked by more than 600,000 people in under three hours.

Britney released her memoir earlier this week, with TMZ reporting on the day of release that more than 400,000 copies had been sold already.

According to the celeb gossip page, Britney will receive 25% of the net profits, and the trajectory of sales so far could see the book sell well over one million copies.
