Brit Awards 2022: Cut-out dresses dominate the red carpet

It’s the biggest night of nights for the music industry in the UK and the stars certainly didn’t let us down in the red carpet glamour stakes this year at the Brit Awards.

A whole host of famous faces, including Adele and Ed Sheeran, arrived at The O2 Arena in London looking stunning for the momentous occasion.

A fashion trend quickly emerged amongst the entertainers, with former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts and singer-songwriter Tallia Storm arriving in black cut-out ensembles.

Glow Up presenter Maya Jama also decided to don the daring trend on the night, dazzling in a scalloped top and matching black skirt.

Tallia Storm

There's not denying singer Tallia Storm's outfit was the talk of the red carpet on the night. She showed up wearing a cut-out ensemble by Mugler, taking to her Instagram to say she was 'living my best life'.

Ashley Roberts

Former Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts stood out in her black number by designer Monot. Fans took to her Instagram page to post fire emojis saying: "Knew you’d have an outfit as good".

Maya Jama

Just like Ashely Roberts, TV star Maya Jama arrived on the night wearing an outfit from Monot. She paired her scalloped black top with a matching skirt and carried a fur shawl to beat the chilly London winter chill.

Adele

If there's anyone you can trust to bring a bit of Hollywood glamour to a red carpet, it's Adele and she didn't let us down in this custom made gown by Armani. It featured a plunging neckline, ruched shoulders and a long sweeping train.

Johnny McDaid and Courteney Cox

Cute couple Johnny McDaid and Courteney Cox looked smitten as they arrived on the red carpet in matching black ensembles.

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran brought a bit of colour to the red carpet in this beautiful blue velour suit. He matched it with a black tie and a pair of super shiny black shoes.

Hannah Waddingham

Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham oozed glamour as she arrived in a long-sleeved black gown on the night. Her hair was coiffed into a perfect bouffant style and her make-up was minimal to let her outfit shine.

Olivia Rodrigo

Singer Olivia Rodrigo also donned sparkles on the night, choosing a slinky silver spaghetti strap dress and a pair of black heels for the ocassion.

AJ Odudu

Fans called TV presenter AJ Odudu's green and gold outfit 'perfection' online and it's clear to see why. She stunned in the minidress design which features a boob tube top and embellished detail.

Anne-Marie

Singer Anne-Marie got involved with the cut-out trend on the night, wearing a criss-crossed crop top underneath a black leather jacket. She paired it with a pair of wide-legged black trousers and kept her hair slicked back off her face in a ponytail.
