Bristol Palin Shares ‘Absolutely Insane’ Health Update As Facial Paralysis Passes 3-Week Mark

After developing a mysterious case of facial paralysis last month, Bristol Palin checked in with her followers to let them know how she's doing—and unfortunately, she's still suffering from the condition.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, Palin took to her Instagram Stories to update her fans on what's been going on since she was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy in January.

"It’s really hard to blink. I can’t blow out a candle. My sisters makes so much fun of me because I look crazy," Palin continued, adding, "I can't believe it's been over three weeks."

As the Dancing With the Stars alum shared, she's been "doing all the things" to try and get better, including acupuncture, lymphatic massage, oxygen chamber treatment, red light therapy, cutting out almost all processed foods, and eliminating most caffeine (though she admitted she still has a cup of coffee in the morning).

"Trying to clean up everything, to be very healthy, but since this was onset by stress, since it was set off by stress, I’ve been trying to eliminate anything that I can control that serves no purpose," the mother of three said, adding that she's "sleeping pretty sound" and "just trying [her] best to get this healed."

Palin explained that while she'd prefer not to reveal the details of her condition on social media, she wanted people to know the truth.

"I hate talking about the stuff on here," Bristol said. "The only reason why I wanted to post about it was that so when people saw me in person they didn’t think that something crazy had happened so I could control at least that narrative—but everything is fine."

Bristol also said she was "praying for some breakthrough some healing soon."
