Bride Shocked Groom After She Belted Out Shania Twain Song While Walking Down the Aisle at Their Wedding

A bride is going viral for her wedding day surprise for her groom!

Per Newsweek, Sophie Hammill of Yorkshire, England left her husband in shock after she performed a Shania Twain hit while walking down the aisle on the couple's big day.

In a video shared on TikTok on July 22, under the username @sophiesings92, Hammill was captured singing Twain’s song “You’re Still The One.”

“Looks like we made it, look how far we’ve come my baby, we mighta took the long way, we knew we’d get there someday,” the bride sang before coming out to the wedding guests in a while carrying a bouquet. “They said, ‘bet they'll never make it.’”

She then came out as she sang the lyrics, “But just look at us holding on, we're still together, still going strong.”

The groom displayed a beaming smile as he watched his bride walk down the aisle. After turning his head away quickly before looking back at her, he appeared to have water in his eyes.

"He tried to hold back tears but cracked when I got close to him. You can see his reaction, and he still goes on about it," Hammil told Newsweek.

The woman told the outlet that she “wanted to do something special” after going through some challenging times.

"I wanted to do something special and surprise my husband after a difficult year," she said. "He didn't know it was going to happen and neither did the guests, aside from my maid of honor and my bridesmaid."

"We just had a premature baby at 28 weeks last November after I nearly lost my life to sepsis," Hammill added.

Currently, the new wife’s video on TikTok has been watched over 900,000 times, with many people commenting about how beautiful the moment was.

“You should 100% do more singing videos, your voice is absolutely amazing! 🥰,” one person commented, while another added, “Awwww congratulations 🥂 I’m bubbling my eyes out lol beautiful voice n video hope to hear more of you 👍❤️❤️.

Meanwhile, a third joked, “My husband would have ran a mile if I sang x.”
