'Boy Meets World' Star Trina McGee, 55, Shares Heartbreaking Pregnancy Update
Trina McGee surprised fans earlier this year when she announced she was expecting a baby at 54. However, the actress revealed sad news about her pregnancy on Monday, Sept. 23.
McGee, who portrayed Angela Moore on the ABC series Boy Meets World from 1997 to 2000, appeared on The Tamron Hall Show to share that she was no longer pregnant.

“It wasn't expected, it was closer to the end of the first trimester. We really don't have any real reasons why,” said McGee. She clarified that she “was still so grateful to have the experience of being able to conceive at this age and at this time,” but that losing the baby caused “a lot of depression” and made it “hard to get out of bed.”
McGee is married to actor-director Marcello Thedford and has three adult children from her first marriage.
She shared that after using “natural remedies” to conceive, part of her “doesn't ever want to go through this again” but that the couple has decided that “if something happens” in terms of pregnancy they will “let go and let God.”
Still, she noted, “There are so many things that come when you really want a family and you want your family to be complete. There are so many dreams that you have. It was very hard to face the fact that that's not going to happen at this point in the junction.”
McGee also explained why she initially shared her pregnancy news publicly so early into the process, sharing, “There were so many women who, even at 55 and older, still want to get pregnant or don't want to be boxed into this 'geriatric pregnancy' thing.”
