Blake Shelton’s Tattoo Disaster: A Drunken Idea Gone Hilariously Wrong
Just because Blake Shelton is a super successful country star who's happily married to Gwen Stefani doesn't mean he's without regrets.
In a recent interview with CMT, the former The Voice coach opened up about one of the biggest mistakes he ever made—and why he'll never commit the same lapse in judgment again.
"You know, they say that tattoos are addictive," Shelton began, pointing to the design wrapping around his left forearm.
"I got this tattoo about 20 years ago, and decided it was, in the moment, one of the worst mistakes of my life, and I'm never doing that again. And I stuck to that," he added.
Commenters agreed that the tat wasn't among Shelton's best decisions.
"It is a pretty terrible tattoo. 😂😂😂," one person wrote.
"You gotta love Blake Shelton.❤️👍❤️," declared a second fan.
"He can get rid of it and I’d love him a little more 😁," admitted someone else.

This isn't the first time the "Texas" singer has addressed his unfortunate experience getting inked. While appearing with his Voice co-star, Adam Levine, on Oprah's Next Chapter in 2013, Shelton opened up about how the tattoo came to be.
"What does that mean?" Oprah Winfrey asked, pointing to Shelton's arm.
"It doesn't mean crap, Oprah," Blake joked, going on to clarify that his ink doesn't actually depict "deer poop."
"I'm a country guy from Oklahoma and I thought, 'I'll get some deer tracks going around my arm,'" Shelton began.
"Were you sober for that?" Levine interrupted.
"No, and neither was the guy that gave me the tattoo, I don't think," Shelton replied. "He didn't know how to make a deer track and I didn't either. [But] I drew him one—what I thought it looked like—and he just took that and copied it here. So I actually drew that crap."
