Blake Lively's Naked Chainmail Mini Dress Was Encrusted With Diamonds

Blake Lively gave the naked dress a medieval twist as she stepped out at the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday, Nov. 2. Made completely out of reflective chainmail pieces held together by dazzling diamonds, the It Ends With Us actress made a bold statement wearing a daring mini dress that was more cutout than fabric.

Lively has famously never worked with a stylist, and she held her own in a sunset-hued look at the star-studded event. The shimmering Tamara Ralph dress, which was from the brand’s fall 2023 collection, exposed Lively’s body with bedazzled chainmail pieces that were set with light pink and rose gold crystals. Each diamond-shaped chainmail piece was connected by diamond accents, adding some extra sparkle to the glittering dress. The sheer number added some extra drama to the design with its daring silhouette, featuring a plunging neckline and low-cut back as well as an ultra-short hemline.

Lively is a fan of a statement coat moment, and she paired the barely-there mini dress with a head-turning burnt orange taffeta cape that she styled around her elbows. The voluminous piece featured puffy arms and a floor-grazing length, balancing out her short Tamara Ralph dress underneath.

The Gossip Girl alum accessorized with lilac strappy sandal heels that were bedazzled with rhinestones, small diamond hoop earrings, and diamond studs, keeping the focus on the bold red carpet look. She leaned into her signature beauty look for her night out, styling her golden locks in voluminous side-parted beachy waves. She kept with the rose gold and pink hues for her glam, complementing her outfit with a shimmery sunset-colored eyeshadow, a warm coral lip, and matching blush on the apples of her cheeks.
