Big W Toy Mania sale sparks shopper frenzy: 'So excited'

Aussie shoppers are getting excited about one of the biggest sales of the year: Big W's 'Toy Mania' sale, where over 1,000 toys will be discounted by up to 50 per cent.

The retailer shared a sneak peek at the mega sale on Thursday, which will feature a range of newly launched and exclusive products, alongside firm favourites from LEGO, Barbie, Hot Wheels and Fisher Price.

Top offers include a new and exclusive Bluey-themed trampoline for $129 and Star Wars The Child Life Size Plush Yoda for $59.

Lego fans big and small will love the City Wildlife Rescue Camp ($109) while the Trolls Surprise Bundle Pack ($29) is sure to be a big hit.

How to shop Big W's Toy Mania sale

The Toy Mania sale will be held in-store and online. The two-day online-only sale kicks off at 7am on Tuesday, June 15 followed by the in-store sale which starts at 8am on June 17.

Online layby — or 'e-layby — for Christmas is available (customers can either set up a layby account in-store or select the layby option when shopping online) along with contactless pickup, home delivery and a direct-to-boot service.

And for the first time, customers can earn bonus Everyday Rewards points when purchasing selected toys in the sale.

Shoppers can scope out all the deals when the jam-packed catalogue drops online and in-store on June 7, but according to the buzz on social media, they're already hyped up.

"It's coming closer!!!! Yaaaay, I'm literally so excited," wrote a fan on Facebook.

"Woohooo," added another.

"I'm doing a massive toy cull before I buy anything haha," admitted a third.
