“Big Brother ”star Rubina Bernabe is scared to watch her showmance play back on TV
The ousted player also reveals how she thinks she would have done at the end.
Rubina Bernabe had dreams of being part of what she thought would be the first all-female final 3 in Big Brother history, but those dreams were shattered when Makensy Manbeck won the Power of Veto and then voted Rubina out of the game on Thursday’s live eviction episode. Not even Rubina’s pledge to fight for Makensy on the jury if she could just make it to third place saved her, as the 35-year-old bartender from Los Angeles was shown the door.
How does Rubina think she would have done had she made it to the final two? What is she hoping for with showmance partner Tucker outside of the house? We asked juror number six that and more.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: You really wanted an all-female final three, but what would you have done in a final four situation if Kimo was still in the game and you had to vote him or one of the women out?
RUBINA BERNABE: Hi, Entertainment Weekly! If it came down to having to vote out Kimo or another woman, I think I would find the happy balance in wanting at least a women's final two and keeping Kimo as my closest ally and find a happy medium between the two.

How do you think you would have fared with the jury against the others still in the game if you had made it to the final two?
If I had made it to the final two, I honestly think it would be an uphill battle given I really only won one competition. But I know I had two besties in there, so I think all it would take is convincing two more people and I might've won the whole thing.

What is the one thing you did this season in the Big Brother house that you are most scared to watch back on TV?
The thing I'm most scared to watch back on TV is my showmance. That is just not what I thought would ever happen, and did I see myself doing that? No! And now I guess millions of people saw me doing that. So that one I might wait to see and watch. I lived it. It's fine.

What would you like your future with Tucker to look like outside of the house?
Oh my gosh, how was I not mentally prepared for this question? As far as a future with Tucker, I'm 35. I feel lucky to have even met someone at this point who I actually truly connect with. I am kind of hoping that it goes further than just inside the house. We live on different coasts, but I think I'm willing to make it work if he's willing to.
