“Big Brother” host Julie Chen Moonves weighs in on Cam and Chelsie drama
The Chenbot also reacts to singing the Jankie World theme song on national television
Each week, Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves will weigh in on the latest events inside the house. This week, she reacts to T’Kor’s eviction, Chelsie getting upset about "Macamsy", who’s playing the best game in the house, and, of course, singing the Jankie theme song.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Let’s get to the most important question first: How did it feel singing the Jankie theme song?
JULIE CHEN MOONVES: Amazingly fun and addictive! I couldn’t stop singing it the rest of the night… on my way off the set…on my way home… at the dinner table…. and so on and so on. I draw the line at pizza and ice cream though. Watching the houseguests get sick of two things I love made me tire of it too! I have a stomachache thinking about having to eat either one now!
What do you think of the house’s decision to take out T’Kor instead of Rubina?
Smart. No one could win against her in a final two. She’s beloved by the houseguests. No one left in the house can come close to her social game.
What do you make of Chelsie being upset at Cam for all the attention he has been giving Makensy? Is she right to be upset?
It showed me the problem I often see between men and women when it comes to communication. Many of us women expect men to pick up on cues, and yes, sometimes we want mind-readers! While men, I feel, often times need things spelled out to them over a bull horn. Cam seems like a nice, easygoing guy who has no clue Chelsie likes him and just trying to stay in everyone’s good graces. Smart. And Chelsie just needs to tell him… “Hey, I like you more than a friend!”
With T’Kor now out, who is playing the best game in the house so far?
Hmmmm… maybe Angela??? She plays the game! Every angle of it, and it’s working for her! But I also think Chelsie has a nice résumé. She’s smart. She gets it. She sees what happening in the house and she knows how to pivot when needed. But she needs to channel her inner Auntie Julie Chenbot side and remove her romantic feelings for Cam from the game. It’s clouding her vision too much and taking her eye off the prize!
