Beyoncé Takes Over The NFL Christmas Halftime Show With ‘Cowboy Carter’ Blowout

Beyoncé had everyone saying “Amen after she took the stage for the halftime show during the NFL game between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans.

On Wednesday, the singer celebrated the Christmas holiday by performing hits from her country album “Cowboy Carter” at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston.

Naturally, Beyoncé kicked off her set Texas-style by entering the stadium atop a white horse as she performed “16 Carriages” and her Beatles “Blackbiird” cover, in which she was joined by country singers Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy and Reyna Roberts.

Donning an oversize white fur coat and matching cowboy hat, the musician dreamily rode the horse past a stream of brightly lit cars before hitting the field with an army of all-white-clad dancers and the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul marching band.

Beyoncé went on to sing other tunes from the 11-time Grammy-nominated album, including “Ya Ya” and “Jolene.”

Fellow artists Post Malone and country singer Shaboozey joined the singer in surprise cameos to perform “Riiverdance” and “Levii’s Jeans,” respectively.

She closed out her lively performance, which was streamed on Netflix, to the tune of “Texas Hold ’Em” as her daughter Blue Ivy showed off her dance skills by square-dancing alongside her mom.

“Merry Christmas. God bless y’all,” Beyoncé said as she wrapped up her performance while being hoisted high above the field on a white platform.

The star’s performance led to raves on the internet, with many users on X, formerly Twitter, jokingly deeming the halftime show the “Beyoncé Bowl.”
