Beyoncé Brought Out Blue Ivy For an Epic 'Cowboy Carter' NFL Halftime Show
1.14.25! What does that mean?!
You asked for the visuals, she gave a performance. Beyoncé just made her highly-anticipated Cowboy Carter live debut on stage at the Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravels NFL halftime show game on Netflix, otherwise known as the Beyoncé bowl. Bey dressed the part like a true Texan and brought out special guest performers like Shaboozey, Post Malone, and her own daughter, Blue Ivy.
Bey swayed to the beat of "16 Carriages," "Jolene," "Levii's Jeans," Texas Hold 'Em," and "SWEET ★ HONEY ★ BUCKIIN’." But no cowboy is ever truly dressed without their boots and hats. For that, the singer relied on the signature sash she wears on the Cowboy Carter album plus an all-white bodysuit styled with chaps as well as a matching wide-brimmed cowboy hat.
During the show, Beyoncé brought out Blue Ivy, her 12-year-old daughter, who had plenty of rehearsal experience during the icon's 2023 Renaissance World Tour, during which Blue often hit the stage.
Beyoncé has previously relied on Stetson to channel her cowgirl roots in 2024. She's worn cowboy hats by the brand at the 66th Grammy Awards and the 2024 Super Bowl, for example, as well as her viral appearance at the Luar fall/winter 2024 show in February. Many of her Cowbow Carter visuals (she gave some, but we still want more!) also feature Stetson hats, including the album's cover and the "Texas Hold 'Em" single photo shoot.
Right at the end of her performance, which featured dozens of dozens of dancers, Beyoncé took to Instagram to announce a surprise drop scheduled for January 14. What we'll get then? Fans speculate a new tour, and/or the release of the third act from her Renaissance era, which was initially introduced as a three-part act, with Cowboy Carter being the second. Only time will tell.
