What Was The Best New Song In 2024?

As 2024 draws to a close, I've been reminiscing on my favorite new releases from the past year. It's been such a great year for music, but, thanks to my two little shih tzus, my Spotify Wrapped was basically the "Calming Puppy Music" playlist on repeat. So, I need to know — what do you think was the best song of 2024?

For example, the top non-instrumental song on my Wrapped was "Espresso" by Sabrina Carpenter. Despite the song being absolutely everywhere, I never got sick of it. What I love about Sabrina is that she's making pop music feel so much fun again!

Speaking of making pop music that feels different, I also really loved "Good Luck, Babe!" by Chappell Roan. I'm absolutely obsessed with her vocals.

And, of course, it was a brat summer. My favorite Brat song was the deluxe track "Spring Breakers" because of the beat.
